4. International Shipping, Customs & Duties

We ship to the following regions under these terms:

UK

Normal domestic shipping applies.

Europe (EU & Non-EU)

Customers are responsible for all import duties, VAT, brokerage fees and customs charges.

USA

Shipping is sent using PDDP (Paid Duties & Taxes Paid) — meaning we cover import charges. Additional courier handling fees may still apply.

Worldwide (Rest of World)

Customers are responsible for all taxes, duties and import costs.

Failure to pay customs charges may result in the parcel being returned or destroyed. Refunds cannot be issued for goods destroyed or rejected due to unpaid fees.

5. Order Acceptance & Payment

We accept payments via:

  • Stripe

  • Klarna, Clearpay, LayBuy, Afterpay

  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

Your order is only accepted once we issue a confirmation email.

Buy Now, Pay Later Services

By using Klarna, Clearpay, LayBuy or Afterpay, you enter into a separate agreement with the payment provider.
You must review their own Terms before selecting these options.

6. Delivery

Delivery times shown at checkout are estimates and not guarantees.

Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

We comply with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Non-Faulty Returns

  • Returns accepted within 14 days

  • Items must be unused, unopened and in resale condition

  • Customer pays return shipping

  • Refund issued within 14 days of receiving returned goods

Faulty or Incorrect Items

  • We cover return shipping for faulty/incorrect items

  • Photo evidence may be required

8. Gift Cards

  • Delivered electronically

  • Valid for 12 months

  • Non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash

  • Lost or stolen gift cards cannot be replaced

9. User Content & Feedback

If you submit comments, photos, media or tag us using #saitoworks, #SWFJPN or @saitoworks.jp:

  • You grant us a royalty-free, worldwide licence to use this content in marketing

  • We may edit or remove content at our discretion

10. SMS Marketing

By providing your phone number at checkout or signup, you consent to receive SMS messages from Saito Works.

  • Frequency varies

  • Message & data rates may apply

  • You can opt-out at any time by replying STOP

11. Prohibited Uses
